Folks have asked if there's a way to give online…
There are a lot of bills from medicines, Natural Clinic treatments, ER visits, and 30+ days in hospital and of course funeral expenses. :(
Thank you Dear Friends so much for standing with us on this long journey!

My Beautiful Bride the day she said "Yes" to the rest of our lives together.
Didn't think it would be so short….  :(

Bittersweet

Bittersweet news this morning my friends.
My beautiful bride went home to be with Jesus last night at 11 PM (Monday Night) Nov. 23
She slipped peacefully away not aware of what was going on and when she opened her eyes she looked into the eyes of Jesus.
Completely healed and restored and ready for the work ahead in the coming ages.
Please make sure that when you leave this life you know where you are going and make sure it is to an eternal place in heaven with Jesus.
These lives we live are but a vapor.

I will miss you for the rest of my life. BUT I WILL see you again, and very soon!

Update on Christine Monday 6:30 PM

Had a conversation with the palliative care doctor this evening. They want to move her to hospice care and they are saying she has hours to days left.

We're not going to go there because we believe that she is going to be healed.

We are asking that she be brought home for in-home hospice care where we can also get some good stuff into her :-)

So far her bowel obstruction has not cleared up so that is a bit of a concern.

Please pray that her bowels will open and the swollen abdomen will clear and that will give her a huge relief and energize her.

We are excited to get her home or we can get some good stuff into her and move forward.

But we would also welcome that healing but all in the Lords timing.

Thank you again dear friends for standing with us do not give up we are not and Christine has not!!!

Update on Christine 9:45am, Monday 11-23

Update on Christine  9:45am, Monday 11-23

Overnight her belly began to swell, very much.  They took her for an x-ray and it shows a bowel obstruction.  I'm waiting on the general surgeon to visit to offer his input.

She did have a small movement last night, but not enough to get relief.

Her liver doesn't seem to be working very well either, although her color is better.

Please Pray that we can get past this latest challenge, get her more comfortable, and start to improve.

AND pray for that healing to be received!

Thank you friends!

Time to pray hard.

OK prayer warriors,

Looks like we're getting down to the wire here, medically speaking of course.

We met with the palliative care doctor last week and he said that she has fractures on her vertebrae causing a lot more pain and her liver function is very low.

They upped her morphine to every two hours and increase the dosage although they will hold off as much as they can so she's not knocked out all the time.

They also increased her pain patch from a 50 to 75.

And they also added a anti-anxiety drug which is helping her with a bit more sleeping as she did not have a good Friday night.  Neither one of us slept much.  So now she seems to be sleeping most of the time as far as we can tell. The nurse said it will be either sleeping or awake and in pain. :(

Finally they added a catheter now so she can pee whenever she needs to.

Thursday she was quite lucid and able to communicate fairly well. Friday morning she was a bit more tired and not able to speak well but she did share with me that someone prayed with her and told her it was OK to go to Jesus.

She was quite upset that somebody had given up on her and told her that. She said if anyone wants to come pray with her they need to be positive and pray for her healing. She said and I quote "it is not my time!!!"

Now if she can be positive and faithful in the midst of her battle that just continues to get worse, why can't we?

Again what's the point of having faith if we can't remain faithful in times like this?

Why do we pray "if it be your will Lord" when we pray for someone with sickness like this, but we don't pray that when we're sharing salvation.

Doesn't his word promise that "by his stripes we are healed"?

Isaiah 53:5New International Version (NIV)

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
When we went to Israel we stood on the very stones where he earned those stripes, we know that it's real.

Mark 15:15  Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

The carving on the stone, where the soldiers played games to gamble for his garments.

"That he heals all our diseases and redeems our life from the pit"

Psalm 103:2-4

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”
James 1:6-8 NIV

The Road Ahead - Dr.s not hopeful. But HE is strong when we are weak!

Good Morning Dear Friends,

Thank you again for standing with us in prayer and support, and walking this road with us.  I know some folks may drop off, get busy with life, etc…  I know, life is busy, and one doesn't really appreciate walking this road unless you've done it.

I want you all to know how much your prayers and your comments lift us all up!  I really get a charge out of you guys and your words, thoughts, and prayers!!!  I'm so touched by all of you I've crossed paths with in this life, who are now surrounding us with love and care!  Thank You!

Grandma & I had a meeting with the Palliative Care Dr. to discuss going forward.  Several times I heard "prognosis is not good" "all the Dr's are saying this,"  etc..  She now has fractures in the vertebrae, which would account for the "I hurt everywhere" comments..

So this has never been a good diagnosis from the Drs and it keeps getting worse.  They are not hopeful, but we are!

She is extremely weak now and bedridden.  Has a difficult time even lifting her arms, and tries to stretch her back by putting her head up.  I can't imagine how frustrating it is…  Not able to get out of bed for the bathroom…

Calcium down in the 12.5 range (8-10.5 normal) this morning, so heading in the right direction. Hemoglobin up from 7 to 10 (10.8-15 normal), so we're heading in the right direction on that...

We got the TPN, Nutrition in and it's been going about 36 hours now.  She's becoming a bit more responsive.

Once we get her a bit more stabilized it looks like they'll be sending her to a skilled nursing facility so they can keep the fluids & liquid nutrition flowing.

Then we'd like to get back to the Clinic in Georgia for some mineral IV's and then a NC clinic to fight the cancer…

The Pulmonary Doctor was just in and shared that the liver is not doing well at all…  He said "if she goes into a nursing facility it's probable that she won't come out."

BUT, we're still praying for that Miracle healing and believing it will come.  We may have to go to the brink, but not all the way…
Psalm 103:4 "who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion"

Please pray specifically for;
- Freedom from pain
- Continued improvement of all vitals
- Liver function to return to full operation
- Cancer to GO in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth
- Overall healing
